By recycling and reusing electronics Stena Technoworld is driving the development towards a wise resource management from our own plants in six European countries.

Used electronic and electrical products is an important source of raw materials in a sustainable society. To maximize the recycling rate all the used products have to be processed in an efficient and environmentally correct way. It is also necessary to remove all environmentally harmful substances before recycling the materials.

Being one of Europe’s leading recyclers of electronics and white goods we handle big volumes of products for producer associations as well as companies, manufacturers and retailers. Our own recycling facilities are strategically placed in six European countries and we collect end-of-life products in several other countries.

We also take care of parts and complete products that can be reused – such as processors, hard drives, touch screens and functioning phones and laptops. Reuse increases the value of the customer's materials further and is also part of the development of the circular economy.

A major part of our operations are conducted at the Stena Nordic Recycling Center in Halmstad, in southwestern Sweden. As this is one of Europe's most modern recycling facility, we are well equipped to meet demands for increased recycling rates from both authorities and customers.
